List of banned cartoons. I publish a complete list of banned cartoons Banned foreign cartoons

In the Russian Federation, the law "On the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Health and Development" came into force. Oddly enough, the most popular and favorite Soviet cartoons for children and adults were hit.

According to official statements by the authorities, this was done as a preventive measure in the methodology of educating a new generation: protecting children's consciousness from extremely negative influences under the sauce of innocent cartoon characters and plots.

1. "Wait for it!" (1969)
In connection with the powerful promotion of smoking, unhealthy lifestyles, homosexuality, hooliganism, and animal abuse.

2. "Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena" (1969, 1971)

Similarly: promotion of smoking, inhumane treatment of animals, fraud.

3. "Carlson who lives on the roof" (1955)

One of those cartoons that is marked as "especially unfavorable for viewing by minors" and, as it turned out, actually promotes smoking, cruelty to animals, hooliganism, gluttony, and corruption of minors.

4. "Hedgehog in the Fog" (1975)

Seemingly harmless cartoon, more soothing than inciting criminal behavior, was condemned on the grounds of "broadcasting information that causes genuine horror and nightmare in children"

5. "Winnie the Pooh and All-All-All" (1969)

Such an analogue of "Carlson", where the characters also cultivate gluttony, immoral behavior, ambiguous hints. Especially note the phrase of the donkey "in and out" and the episode when he shows his tailless ass without embarrassment.

6. "Bremen Town Musicians" (1969)

It is also an extremely harmful cartoon that promotes not only an unhealthy lifestyle (the king's abuse of eggs, which can lead to salmonellosis), hooliganism, but also vagrancy, prostitution, and the easy accessibility of girls. The censors are still very embarrassed by the princess' outfit, shorter than any cocktail dress, and in addition her hairstyle - two cute ponytails - create an image of such an accessible spicy girl. And, of course, the songs that sound behind the scenes in every way sing of terrorism, a riotous lifestyle.

7. "The Adventures of Funtik the Pig" (1986)

Also dangerous for children's clear consciousness is the cartoon, which openly shows the impunity of the exploitation of child labor, the use of firearms.

8. "Three from Prostokvashino" (1978)

Demonstration of typical disrespect and non-observance of the rights to private property. Of course, vagrancy, unauthorized carrying of weapons.

Many psychologists, educators, teachers advise to carefully select cartoons to show to children. Every day the vastness of the Internet presents us with an increasing selection of cartoons. Many of them frankly do not pass criticism even not the most picky viewers.

We show kids cartoons where dad is clumsy and kids laugh about it every day. After regularly viewing such pictures, children cease to respect their parents. Cartoons in which heroes quarrel and fight, or even heroically, but win by force, do not teach children to resolve conflict situations outside the field of violence. It is worth wondering what the authors of some cartoons are inspired by.

Our children absorb information very quickly and perceive it as the truth. In such a short and important period of their life as childhood, it is important to take a particularly responsible approach to the choice of cartoons.

Here is a very small list of banned cartoons in different countries.

Pokemon

Banned: Japan, Turkey, Arab League.

Reason: causing harm to the health of children. In one of the series of children's anime, the creators demonstrated an explosion in a very unusual way: a bright flash of red and blue colors on the screen with a frequency of about 12 Hz. After that, children in different parts of the country began to complain to their parents about the deterioration of their health, in some cases the symptoms reached partial loss of vision, convulsions and loss of consciousness. More than 685 spectators were taken to the hospital. The episode was taken off the air around the world, naming the incident "The Pokemon Shock".

SpongeBob

Banned: USA, Russia, Europe, Australia, and later the cartoon was partially banned from showing in more than 120 countries.

Reason: Violence and foul language.

Action: Banned in many countries. The suicide episode has been taken off the air. It is assumed that cartoons should be educational in nature and should promote the positive aspects of personality. In Bikini Bottom, each character is endowed with their own negative feature. And yet there is no explicit punishment for the misdeeds, thinking or attitudes of the characters: they get away with a lot. This is probably why many countries do not want to teach this to their future generations.

Miracles on turns

Banned: USA and Japan, and after and all over the world.

Reason: false ideas about the law, propaganda of stereotypical thinking about Asian countries. In one episode, Baloo had to transport a gift box that contained a bomb. And the bear came out unscathed thanks to ignorance of the contents of the package. Thus, here the children are shown the opposite effect of the rule "ignorance of the law does not exempt from responsibility." The second controversial episode, which was temporarily taken off the air, is called "City Beyond the Horizon". In the story, the warlike pandas use Baloo to locate a hidden city for a subsequent attack. Many saw here an analogy with real historical events.

Tom and Jerry

Banned worldwide. Cause: Smoking, use of harmful substances and alcohol, violence.

Measures: partial ban on some episodes, deletion of scenes, replacement of characters. Over the course of half a century of broadcast, many scenes deemed offensive were cut, re-voiced, or completely taken off the air, as they showed the specific life of America in the 40s. But, according to many, the main problem of the cartoon is the violence with impunity. If the cat Tom periodically gets for his pranks, then Jerry can endlessly bully the blue cat and not get any negative attitude from the audience, since he is initially considered a good character.

The Simpsons

Banned in the US, Brazil, and then the rest of the world. Reason: violence, undermining family values, hooliganism, insulting public figures, countries.

Measures: individual episodes have been taken off the air in different countries. So, for example, one of the episodes where Homer caught Pokemon in the Temple was banned in Russia. In the US, there is a lot of controversy over the provocative animated series, mainly on the basis of the decay of family values and inadequate behavior for children (using Bart as an example). The Rio Tourism Department found one episode incredibly offensive and threatened the creators with a lawsuit. According to the plot, the heroes end up in a Brazilian city, which is presented in the form of a jungle, where monkeys jump. This episode is never shown in Brazil. Despite the thirst for freedom of expression, the authors of the series are very loyal to individual countries. Homer does not drink beer or eat bacon in UAE broadcasts. And the Vatican itself recognizes the animated series as “realistic and smart”, thanks to which adults can watch cartoons again.

Beavis and Butt-head

Banned all over the world. Reason: hooliganism, causing grievous bodily harm under the influence of a cartoon.

Measures: one of the episodes is banned worldwide. This animated series promoted little useful, but one of the series went beyond. In an episode called "Comedians" they showed how funny burning things can be. This affected one 5-year-old kid in the US: trying to repeat the pranks of the characters, the child burned down his house with his little sister locked inside.

Looney Tunes

Banned worldwide. Reason: drinking alcohol.

Measures: taken off the air by the creators. We are talking about the already famous One beer series. The characters in this episode set out to steal and empty a bottle of beer from their parents' refrigerator. What, according to the authors, this series should teach young children remains a mystery. However, the series was banned from showing, but they kept it on DVD. Here are two measures.

Gravity Falls

Banned in Russia. Reason: promotion of bad habits, violence, "adult" content.

Measures: removal of obscene scenes, partial replacement of replicas. The cartoon itself can be seen on television, but not in its full form. The degree of jokes is reduced, the scenes are cut and the age limit is set to 12+. So, for example, in the 2nd episode, Dipper accidentally lies on the bra of Wendy (15-year-old heroine). This fragment turned out to be too frank for the audience. But his removal did not affect the plot too much.

The Adventures of Lolo the Penguin

Banned in the USA.

The reason: the discrepancy between the characters and the plot to the mentality of the audience.

Measures: deleting scenes, replacing characters' reactions, partial replacement of lines, changing the storyline. No, you do not think that the cartoon beloved by many is available to the American audience. True, with significant edits. Of the three full-fledged series, American animators have collected one cartoon with a very illogical plot. All the unpleasant and sad moments from the cartoon were cut out, even the death of Lolo's dad, which reflects the special nature of the character, the animators decided to remove. In the scene where the teacher penguin collapses in front of his "class", the students' calm reaction is changed to merriment.

Donald Duck cartoons

Banned in Finland.

Reason: pornography, propaganda of false values.

Measures: all cartoons with duck characters are banned in the country. Back in the 70s of the last century, a comic book with a funny Disney duck disappeared from the Finnish shelves - and all because of Donald's refusal to wear pants. The Helsinki Committee for Youth Affairs believes that these cartoons distort family values, threaten morality and promote an unhealthy desire for money.

Shrek 2

Banned in Israel.

Reason: frivolous overtones, insults to public figures.

Measures: withdrawn from 20 cinemas across the country. In a scandalous fragment in the original voice acting, they say “to bobbit”, suggesting that one character be deprived of important biological organs. The verb appeared after a sensational case in the United States in the family of John Bobbit, whom his wife deprived of "dignity" with scissors. The authors of the dubbing decided to replace this juicy moment with a joke about an Israeli singer with an unusually high voice, understandable to the local audience. Singer David D'Or did not appreciate such humor and sued the creators of the picture.

The Bremen Town Musicians

Banned in Russia. Reason: promotion of vagrancy.

Measures: banned from showing with temporary restrictions from 6:00 to 23:00. Fully cartoon, of course, no one plans to take off the air. Even after all the terrible disputes, long trials and examinations. Adults saw in this musical a contradiction to the law in one line of the song: "Our roof - the sky is blue." In their opinion, this encourages young people to wander. Many psychologists and experts argue that such conclusions are not for the child's psyche. Also in the cartoon is frank propaganda of disobedience to parents.

Cheburashka

Banned in Russia. Reasons: promotion of vagrancy, smoking, hooliganism.

Measures: it is forbidden to be shown from 6:00 to 23:00; if it is shown at the prohibited time, it is subject to dismantling with the removal of obscene scenes. Beloved by many, the animal suffered the fate of street musicians. During the night in a telephone booth, he was recognized as a person without a fixed place of residence. Yes, and smoking a good-natured crocodile does not pass the age limit. Despite the authors' statement that air bubbles fly out of Crocodile Gena's tube, the cartoon is subject to a time limit.

Wait for it!

Banned in Russia.

Reason: promotion of smoking, drinking alcohol, hooliganism.

Measures: it is forbidden to be shown from 6:00 to 23:00; if it is shown at the prohibited time, it is subject to dismantling with the removal of obscene scenes. An analogue of the cartoon "Tom and Jerry" is also accused of excessive violence, hooliganism, smoking, drinking alcohol, and some especially attentive experts saw an unusual relationship between the two characters.

Law “Introduces a ban on information that causes fear, horror and panic in children, as well as justifies violence and illegal behavior. It is unacceptable to disseminate uncontrolled information that can make children want to use drugs, alcohol or incite them to harm their lives and health.”

Everything seems to be logical and correct. Of course, as a father, I support this law and hope that after its implementation, harmful information on the Internet and television will decrease. However, today I read in the news what kind of "infa" will be banned from viewing and I wonder. At first I thought it was a duck from the opposition media.

The list of contraindicated for viewing includes cartoons "Well, you wait!" and "Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena". Could you imagine that someday the most beloved cartoons of our childhood will be censored due to the fact that the wolf and the crocodile, it turns out, promote smoking?! Have any of us who grew up on these cartoons started drinking and smoking, inspired by the example of our favorite characters?!

Now these cartoons fall into the "18+" category, and they can only be shown after 23:00. To show these cartoons in the program "Good night, kids!" of them will have to remove prohibited scenes, reports "Interfax". What are forbidden scenes? How does a wolf uncork a Cider, or how does a crocodile play chess with a pipe in its mouth? That is, our children will be shown a pathetic parody of good and beloved domestic cartoons without "harmful scenes"? With a crocodile, it still didn’t go anywhere, but how can you imagine a wolf as an exemplary family man ?!

Well, if so, then why are we petty? It is worth banning or cutting up most of Soyuzmultfilm's cartoons, and send the studio itself to the list of "unwanted to be shown." How much our children have to go through, watching the cartoons of our childhood, it’s just creepy!

I decided to help the "censors" and made my list of cartoons not intended for viewing during the daytime. Here's the first thing that came to mind.

1. "Well, wait a minute", 1969
Promotion of hooliganism, unhealthy lifestyle, animal abuse.

2. "Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena" 1969 and 1971
Promotion of smoking and cruelty to animals.

3. "Carlson, who lives on the roof", 1955
Promotion of gluttony, smoking, cruelty to animals, corruption of minors.

4. "Hedgehog in the Fog", 1975
You thought this was a quivering cartoon about finding a friend in the fog? An no.
This is just "information that causes horror, panic and fear in children." What are the nightmares that the hedgehog had to endure while he got to the bear cub.

5. "Winnie the Pooh and everything, everything", 1969
Again, propaganda of gluttony - Carlson had jam, Winnie had honey ("which is cooler, honey or raspberries?").
Well, for the replica of Eeyore "in and out" the cartoon should definitely be listed in the 18+ category. By the way, the donkey, it turns out, is also indecently brought up - without much embarrassment it shows its backside (that is, the absence of a tail) - propaganda of immoral behavior as it is.

6. Bremen Town Musicians, 1969
Promotion of prostitution, hooliganism, vagrancy, gambling. By the way, the heroine's dress is too short. The abuse of eggs can lead to salmonellosis - hence the promotion of unhealthy food ("McDonald's" is resting). And in one of the songs there are such lines "we love to kill and beat the buckets ... we are robbers - bang bang and you are dead" - propaganda of violence and terrorism is obvious.

7. "The Adventures of the Little Pig", 1986
Kidnapping of children, use of slave child labor (in this case, work in a circus), as well as the illegal use of firearms.

8. "Three from Prostokvashino", 1978
Promotion of vagrancy, as well as smoking and illegal possession of property (house in the village). Sharik carried a gun - again, irreparable harm to the child's psyche. Cut out!

9. I don't remember what kind of cartoon it is, tell me. Well, everything is clear here - erotic scenes, immoral behavior.

10. "Monkeys", 1987
These little provocateurs will obviously teach children something bad. And also a song from a cartoon with the lines: "in every little child, both a boy and a girl, there are two hundred grams of explosives or even half a kilo" - this is at least propaganda of terrorism.

* * *
Well, the most favorite undesirable for viewing is "Once upon a time there was a dog", 1982.
Here you have hooliganism, and gluttony, and alcohol. Kidnapping of babies, cruelty to animals, orgies, I admit that drugs also took place that night, because simply from overeating the wolf would not have betrayed his own, which has become winged, "I'll sing right now."

But seriously, let's work together - the state and parents - to protect our children from really harmful and dangerous information, which is now full of not only on the Internet and on TV, but also on the street, and we will leave good and dear cartoon films alone and let our children grow up on them, and not on foreign "The Simpsons" or "Futurama".

I enjoyed watching our cartoons.

Guys, we put our soul into the site. Thanks for that

Whether you are a child or an adult, there are probably cartoons that you watch with delight. Unfortunately, there are those among them that you could not see in some countries for strange reasons.

Editorial website found an explanation why popular cartoons are banned in different countries.

16. Winnie the Pooh

Where prohibited: China.

Cause: the resemblance of the protagonist to the leader of the country.

Measures: the cartoon and the animated series are banned from being shown in the country.

It all started with innocent memes from the Internet space, where the bear was compared to Chinese President Xi Jinping. This cute honey eater is painfully similar to him in the photographs and, according to the Chinese users themselves, even in character.

15. Peppa Pig

Where prohibited: Australia.

Cause: teaches to be friends with dangerous insects.

Measures: banned from showing in the country.

The cute cartoon was banned in Australia after the release of the series, where a new resident appeared in the house of pink pigs - the spider Thin Legs. For the rest of the world, it turned out to be a rather instructive series about friendship between people and insects. But not for the most southern places of our planet, where more than 10,000 species of spiders live, and among them there are many poisonous ones. Therefore, Australians are definitely against warm relations with these eight-legged creatures.
