How to develop in industrial craft 2.

Indie games are not so popular among modern gamers. Most prefer horror, action and MMORPGs. But perhaps everyone has played the famous Minecraft game at least once. It just so happened that the sandbox genre takes root among children and teenagers, while the rest prefer more active and serious games. But the Industrial Craft 2 guide will be needed by everyone who decides to try this modification and study industrial production.

A game

Minecraft is a computer game that was released in 2011. The sandbox genre in it is complemented by elements of a survival simulator and an open world. The player is presented with a virtual location in three dimensions and randomly generated worlds.

In the game, the elements are made up of cube blocks, which allows the player to rebuild everything. Thanks to the virtual constructor, a gamer can create any form of structure by mining materials or using creative mode for free access to tools. Many people compare Minecraft to LEGO.

Since the project is implemented in the sandbox genre, it does not set specific goals for the gamer, with the exception of some modifications that can generate quests and missions to complete. Despite the lack of goals, the player has something to do: exploring the location, fighting enemy creatures, extracting resources, and much more. others

And although many are quite skeptical about Minecraft, it's hard to deny that this is one of the most successful games in history. By 2018, it has sold over 144 million copies across all platforms. And the number of users of pirated versions even exceeds this number. According to statistics, more than 74 million players launch the game at least once a month.

Modification

Industrial Craft 2 is a Minecraft mod that is considered not the most famous among fans of the game. Most likely, this is due to the complexity and specialization. The modification is aimed at studying industrial production. Since the main audience of the game is children from 6 years old, they are simply not interested in understanding metallurgy, electrical engineering and agro-industry.

But this mod is very popular with teenagers who study in this way different types energy, special tools and devices. But even the smartest need a guide to Industrial Craft 2.

Installing the mod

To begin with, it is better to check the correspondence between the versions of the client and the mod. This information can be found on the official forum, where the data is posted in a special section. Here you can also get a guide to Industrial Craft 2, information about changes, bugs, fixes and more.

This mod is installed using Minecraft Forge. First you need to download the game itself, then find the utility described above, not forgetting to check the compatibility of the versions. Next, you need to create a “mods” folder in the root of the game, if it does not already exist. Then find the desired modification and move it to the previously created folder. Now you can start the game.

Where to start?

The guide for Industrial Craft 2 at the first stage is no different from the beginning in a regular game. The player starts searching for resources that would help him craft a bed, a workbench and a stove. You also need to get the usual tools for playing: a pickaxe, a shovel and an ax. You will also need to build a small dwelling in order to calmly wait out the night in it. Do not forget about nutrition: stock up on apples and meat. Think about protection.

Latex and rubber

The Industrial Craft 2 Experimental guide recommends collecting everything you need to progress further in the game. Therefore, we begin the search for a hevea tree. Thanks to him, we can get latex, and later rubber. The latter material is often used in the creation of electrical appliances and generators.

To get latex from a hevea tree, you need to make a faucet that will extract juice. By the way, from one tree you can get an infinite amount of latex. The only thing that the plant in this case has a conditional recharge. Therefore, it is not recommended to cut hevea. If this tree is far from home, you can try to get seedlings from its leaves in order to plant a plant near the house. There is also a chance to get latex by breaking wood.

Required Resources

The Industrial Craft 2 mod guide involves creating torches and descending into the mines. This is a common practice for crafters. Iron, copper and tin must be mined in the caves. Iron is one of the most important materials that is used in almost the entire virtual industry. It is also worth paying attention to bronze, which is made from copper and tin. Sometimes it turns out to be much stronger than iron, and it is much easier to find the components for crafting it. Therefore, many players use bronze for armor and tools.

It is important to first create a hammer from iron, and after 5 iron plates. All this will help create an iron furnace.

Nutrition

This is an equally important aspect in the early stages of development in Minecraft Industrial Craft 2. The guide recommends immediately developing the agro-industrial sector. To do this, you need to craft the necessary tools. We are looking for water, next to which we need to plant wheat. It is extracted from ordinary grass.

In the early stages, wheat will help you survive and eat well. You can make bread out of it. If you use wooden perches, you can increase the yield, as well as simplify the cultivation of other useful crops.

electrical engineering

One of the sources of electricity in the game is a generator. In order to make it, you need latex, red dust, copper, iron and tin. All this will be necessary in order to make an electric furnace. Unlike the usual one, it works twice as fast. Such an oven works only with the help of an electrical circuit.

Since this is a specialized mod, it has a lot of unusual equipment that has not been seen before. For example, an ore washing machine and a thermal centrifuge can be used. All this will help to extract even more materials from resources.

Metallurgy

We accumulate a lot of iron, make a pickaxe out of it, as well as its stone counterparts. Now you can go to the cave. You need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to work hard here to get enough resources. You need to collect everything that catches your eye. Don't forget about the red dust. You need to prepare thoroughly, otherwise at the time of crafting complex equipment there may not be enough materials and you will have to go down into the mine again.

For automatic extraction of resources in this mod, a mining laser and a drilling rig are used.

Agroindustry

As already mentioned, wooden perches are the most effective for growing plants. It is also important to use selective methods. Ferrium will turn the harvest into Iron Dust, and when using Aurelia, you can get a gold nugget.

The player can also use coffee. The drink will help the character cheer up, move faster and work more efficiently. You can make coffee from the corresponding fruits.

The Industrial Craft 2 Experimental mod guide recommends the use of specialized building resources, which will be much stronger than those previously used in the regular game.

Many players use building foam, which is used to make foam concrete. The latter material is strong and blast resistant. You can paint it or use the texture of any other block on it. If you compress the foam, you can get a lot of foam concrete blocks, which makes the material cheap.

Since electrical engineering is developed in this fashion, it is possible to use not torches, but electric lamps for lighting. They can take on different forms: floor, wall, table or ceiling.

conclusions

Development in Industrial Craft 2 can be started in any way. But there are still recommended options that will help you develop faster in the game and not suffer from force majeure.

Most experienced gamers start by crafting electrical appliances. But for them to work, it is necessary to create a source of electricity. If your dwelling is underground, you can craft a geothermal generator. If the house is on the surface, it is best to use a kinetic wind generator.

Greetings, dear readers. Today I would like to bring to your attention a series of entries, after reading which you will be able to create your first drill in Industrial craft, and in the future also extract many resources without even thinking about leaving your magnificent home!

Do not forget that the modification itself is not as big as you might hear. This is only because a huge bunch of addons are often installed to it, which at times increase the list of recipes for this mod, and also make it more complex, or even simpler. Also, do not argue with other people about how this or that object is created. Why? The answer is simple - there are modifications that drastically change all the recipes present in Industrial craft. And the most popular of them is, I think, Greg Tech mod.

So where does the amazing adventure of Industrial Craft begin?

As in regular Minecraft, this modification has a list of certain items that are basic and necessary, if not for all, then for most items. There are only 3 such items in Industrial - copper wires with insulation, microcircuits and batteries. But the third item is used much less frequently than the first. It's even crafted using the first item, which makes you wonder if the battery is even the base item for this mod.

So how do you make this very wire? First we need to find rubber. It comes from the rubber tree. Some modifications add even more rubber trees, which make it easier or harder to get rubber. You can see what these trees look like and how to extract rubber from them in these screenshots:

On the left is a modified rubber tree, on the right is the original rubber tree.

In order to get rubber from the first tree, it is enough just to cut it down, and with the modification of the Tree Capitator, it becomes simply easier than ever:

With the second tree, things are a little more complicated. Of course, you can just chop it down and get a certain amount of rubber, but it is possible to get rubber from it in much larger quantities, with a slightly higher expectation. The fact is that when such a tree grows on it, some sources of rubber appear:

From such veins, you can get rubber using a faucet - an item, the creation scheme of which you can see a little below:

After using this item on such a vein, you will receive 1 piece of rubber, lose 1 of the 17 points of durability of the faucet and empty the vein for a while:

After a while, you will again see the rubber in this vein and you can get it again using the faucet. Don't forget that we need 6 rubber to create a wire, so before leaving the rubber forest make sure you have enough material to create the required amount of wire.

The second item needed to create a wire is copper. Copper is mined like iron, or gold - in mines. Again - different addons add different copper. In the screenshot you can see 2 possible options for how copper looks like:

Digs industrial craft copper with any pickaxe other than wood pickaxe. Do not be confused - the Thermal Expansion mod has its own copper, which can only be mined with an iron pickaxe or higher.

So, after receiving these two ingredients, we must carry out another simple operation with the cost of coal - overcook them. Moreover, you need to overcook both copper and rubber.

The first ore (which is on the left), when used in a furnace, gives us this result:

The second one (the one on the right) is like this:

Rubber from the first tree is roasted as follows:

Same with the second one:

Also, if you need less than 6 cables, you can get the required amount by following a couple of simple steps that you see in the screenshots:

Well, I think it's enough for the first lesson. We have taken the first step necessary for the development of Industrial crfat. In the next lesson, we will learn how to make microcircuits and, possibly, multiply all the resources received by half. Thank you for your attention and see you soon!

Hi all! With you k0dean (co-authored with Spleefys) And today I will begin to initiate you into the secret world Industrial Craft 2 Experimental!
So let's start with what changes have been added to the game?

1.Ores

Added 4 types of ore:
It is necessary to create almost all fashion devices, since almost all fashion devices are made from electrical circuits, and electrical circuits are made from copper wires.
An important element of the mod, as it is the basis for the production of electricity, batteries are made from tin, which are used to craft generators, which in turn are used to craft all other types of generators.
Also has application in the food industry - cans.
Something without which there would be no nuclear energy and Chernobyl. Required for the operation of reactors. It drops out in the form of blocks of ore, to obtain uranium, processing is necessary, as well as for other ores.
CAREFULLY: Radiation! It can kill you in a few seconds, therefore, when working with uranium, do not forget about protection.
New ore. Lead is needed to craft reactor chambers,

2. Let's start the initial craft

After digging up some ore and collecting other useful material (for example, wood and red dust), we go crafting, I think you know how to make a workbench :) First, we assemble a stone stove (normal craft) Having melted the stove with coal or wood, we smelt iron, copper and tin ore.
ATTENTION: If you have a lot of ore, I do not advise you to immediately melt it all in a furnace for metal - over time, you will be able to increase the yield of metal after processing to 200-250% and get from 1 ore not 1 ingot as it is now, but already 2-3 ingots , so for now, smelt 20-30 of each ore.
The first tool we need is the Blacksmith Hammer, it is created like this:

What can be done with a hammer - flatten correctly! :)
Flatten about half of the remaining ingots like this.

The hammer has a durability limit - after 80 uses you will have to replace it (durability is shown at the bottom with a green bar).
Then we make the 2nd necessary tool - Nippers.

3. I will make a small digression: How to get rubber?

Finding on the street Hevea

It should have latex smudges on it.

Now we craft a faucet:

And RMB (Right Mouse Button) on a smudge with a faucet, Latex drops out (1-3 pieces)

Industrial Craft - according to many players, the most extensive mod for MineCraft "and Thanks to it, the player will be able to diversify game process several times, thanks to this mod, a huge number of various items and things are added to the game.

IC2 is a logical continuation of this mod. Due to this mod, the player will be able to feel not like a caveman, but a resident of the industrial era. Stop doing routine mining, install the mod and experience all the delights of energy for yourself. IN IndustrialCraft 2 mechanisms developed to such an extent that it is quite difficult to distinguish them from real ones. For example, the same nuclear reactor works almost the same, the only difference is minimalism and small block sizes, but in everything else everything is very, very similar to real life.

With technological development, the player will be able to forget about such ancient tools as axes and picks. Indeed, in this fashion there are more convenient devices - a drill and a chainsaw. At the same time, you do not have to make such tools anew each time, and the speed spent on the block mining process will be much less than with a conventional tool. All this will help you stay in the mines almost without getting out. The only drawback is the need to recharge these devices, but this is quite a solvable task.

Like many other industrial mods, IC2 adds several types of new ores to the game - copper, uranium and tin. Some of this may seem insufficient, in which case you can install additional mods specially created for IC2. These ores are used in a variety of crafts, and uranium, moreover, is a very profitable source of energy. In fact, there is nothing special about this, but thanks to this you will be able to extract much more resources in one trip to the mine, which means that the mechanisms obtained from the extracted resources will be faster and easier.

Simply put - this mod will be of interest to those who want to add zest to the game modern technologies. In addition, all this can be supplemented with even more technologies, all this is available on the official website of the Industrial Craft 2 modification.

However, even here it was not without drawbacks. And the most significant of them is that after installing the mod, the player will have to start re-comprehending the world, learning new recipes. At the same time, about old world, which has already been settled by the player, will have to be forgotten.

Where to start in order to quickly develop in the new world? Everything is very simple here, first of all you will have to start the game the same way as without this mod. Indeed, in order to use all the benefits of civilization, you will have to sweat a little in the mines, wielding an ordinary pickaxe. After you have access to the creation of the simplest mechanisms, or rather a generator, immediately proceed to its creation.

Another help for a beginner is crushers - these are mechanisms that can destroy some objects and ores into crumbs. With their help, you can get more items from ordinary ore.
They operate according to the following principle - you throw, for example, ore into this mechanism (do not forget to connect energy to it), and at the output you get a crumb that can be smelted into ingots or used in other mechanisms. The result is typically twice as much ore as a normal ore smelter.

The most important element of modification, which allows other mechanisms to work, is the source of energy. These sources are different, the same as in the real world - windmills, hydro generators, nuclear reactors, etc.

At the very beginning of the game, only ordinary sources of energy - generators - will be available to you. After, when you have accumulated enough resources, it is recommended to start creating more advanced sources, such as solar panels and geothermal generators. And at an even higher level of development of your technologies, you will be able to create the most powerful source of energy - a nuclear reactor.
Many recommend that beginners not focus on sources of energy that can provide the player with a large amount of it with little effort to provide them with resources.

But let's think logically - the time it takes to extract resources for a conventional generator is comparable to how much energy a solar panel produces in a day. But you still have to wait for the device or mechanism to charge. It is also convenient to use various energy storage devices - these are devices like rechargeable batteries in ordinary cell phones or in cars. Thus, the energy generated by the solar battery per day will be sufficient to recharge the drill or feed the crusher.

But it's up to you to decide how best to proceed. Practice shows that uranium is the most profitable source of energy, but before creating it, the player will have to spend a lot of time mining resources and crafting mechanisms. The main thing - do not forget to create energy storage - they can greatly facilitate the gameplay.

Also, do not forget about advanced mods that improve the solar panels in IC2, with their help the player will be able to generate energy even in the daytime, while its amount will be higher than that of ordinary panels during the day. What is closer and more convenient to you means that it is better.

Obtaining and properly distributing energy resources is the most interesting activity in Industrial Craft.

Let's take a look at the main tools

At the beginning of the article, as an example, were mentioned - a drill and a saw. These tools are also required and should be created as quickly as possible.

They can be used indefinitely, the main thing is to charge their batteries in time. To do this, you can use a portable battery - a bat-pack and an energy pack.

In addition, the drill can be improved - make it diamond, i.e. even more efficient and faster.

The action of the saw is similar to the action of the drill, but with its help you can only extract wooden blocks and nothing more.

All this is quite well-known among the players. However, this item has other, non-official uses. Have you watched the old horror movie Evil Dead? In this film, the main character wields a chainsaw, destroying zombies. Perhaps this is what prompted the creators of the mod to add another characteristic to this item - the power of impact on mobs. The creeper can be killed with two hits.

IN IndustrialCraft 2 mechanisms play a very important role. In addition, they differ in the complexity of creation. For example, to create an energy crystal, you need to get a diamond. From it you can make other items, from which, in turn, even more complex mechanisms are crafted.

Miner's laser - just refers to such items. It will not work to create it at the beginning of the game, for this you will have to go a long way from a conventional generator and a simple energy storage to an MFE.
This device has many modes, in addition, with its help you can not only destroy blocks, but also kill annoying mobs and players. At the same time, the blocks are not destroyed - they fall out, which is why it is called miner's.

In no case do not knock out blocks of mechanisms with a fist, pickaxe or drill! In this case, they will break. But, you ask, how then to knock out already installed blocks? To do this, the game provides such a tool as a wrench and its upgrade. This key is crafted from bronze. This way, you can always get your item intact and undamaged.

Another important tip would be to create all simple tools out of bronze, or better yet, out of stone. Because in this fashion, iron is always enough, such an approach will significantly save on this valuable resource. You can also do without these items altogether, because they can be replaced with a drill.

For lovers of nuclear reactors, there is also advice - create a rubber protective suit, because. without it, you will simply die and may lose some or even all of the resources. Yes, this mod has radiation that mercilessly kills players. In addition, it is often used for other purposes - if you throw a piece of uranium on the ground (in network mode) near the respawn of the players, then they will be "pleasantly" surprised by such an unexpected gift. But do not abuse this, because the administration, unless it is she who does it, can ban the merry fellow.

Finally, let's add that energy is an indispensable resource in this mod, you can't do without it, you can't replace it. Therefore, try to provide yourself with this resource in abundance. Indeed, with development, you will have to create even more energy sources, occupying all the free space with them.

Industrial Craft 2- one of the representatives of the most global mods created in the history of minecraft. As the name suggests, this is an industrial mod. Simply put, it adds to the game a large number of all kinds of mechanisms, blocks and items that you can craft yourself. Let's take a closer look at what exactly awaits you after installing Industrial Craft 2.

Ores.

  1. Copper ore.
A common ore on which most of the mod's lightest initial crafting is based. For example, copper and rubber can be used to make copper wires, and copper and tin can also be used to make bronze. The frequency of detection is comparable to coal. It occurs at a variety of heights (from 10 to 70 blocks). The final product of copper ore is copper ingots.
  2. Tin ore.
A rarer ore, found at low altitudes (up to 40 blocks). It is smelted into ingots and used in the production of batteries and liquid capsules.
  3. uranium ore.
One of the rarest ores, found at heights up to 80 blocks in quantities from 1 to 4 blocks. Breaking a block drops uranium. With the right equipment, uranium can be pressed into ingots. Used as fuel for a nuclear reactor.
  4. Lead ore.
An experimental ore added in later versions of the mod. Except as a component of a nuclear reactor, it is not used anywhere.

Trees.

More precisely, a single tree, without which a huge number of crafts are impossible. Hevea is an element of the mod, which the player should first take a closer look at. For example, if you find a real grove planted with these trees, it will be most profitable to settle right there (in the early stages of development).

From time to time, rubber smudges appear on the hevea, which can be collected with a special faucet. You can craft it from 5 boards on a workbench. By burning rubber, you get the rubber needed to craft copper, gold, and tin wires. Of course, you can do without rubber, but bare wire can not withstand stress and undermine half your house, so the best option is to always use insulated wire.

Wow, what a lot! It is difficult to understand the first time all this, and even more so to remember! So you can relax a little, for example, by playing KSochka. find out by clicking on the link.

Mechanisms.

  1. Energy generators.
First of all, you should think about extracting energy for your mechanisms. Without electricity, more than half of the mechanisms are useless tins, which means they need to be provided with energy. This is done simply - an energy generator and an energy keeper are crafted, fuel is placed in the generator (with the exception of solar panels and wind generators) and both mechanisms are connected by wires. The generator generates energy and transmits its custodian, from which it can be output to energy consumers. Another option is to connect the generator and mechanism directly, without a keeper. But then you have to constantly monitor the amount of fuel. In addition, the keepers provide an opportunity to recharge batteries and various costumes. Generator.
Works on coal, wood, paintings and everything that burns. The simplest and most reliable energy source in all of fashion.
    Solar battery.
Generates a large amount of energy (about 13,000 EU per day) from sunlight. Do not forget that it only works if it is not blocked by blocks.
    Wind generator.
As you might guess, it generates energy from the movement of the wind. The amount of energy generated depends on the height of the mechanism.
  2. Energy Guardians.
Energy savers are special mechanisms that perform the function of storing electricity. Their main function is to take energy from generators. Further, it can be carried out to consumers or charge power suits directly from the custodian. Energy saver.
The simplest keeper, having a volume of 40,000 eE. All sides of the block are input, except for one, which is marked with a black dot. Craft is quite easy and affordable even in the first couple of development. It is mainly used to recharge not too energy-consuming mechanisms.
    MFE (Multifunctional Energy Saver).
A more expensive keeper with a volume of 600,000 EU. For crafting, steel, gold insulated wires and an energy crystal are used. Used for most vehicles and charging armor and swords.
    MFSU (Multifunctional supercapacious device)
The most valuable keeper. Holds 10,000,000 EU and large input voltage. Crafting uses MFE, Lazutron crystals, improved chips and an improved case
    mechanism.
  3. Processors.
They perform a variety of functions, ranging from the simple rapid smelting of ores into ingots and ending with the crushing of an ingot into dust used in various crafts and mechanisms. Iron stove.
Smelts ores and fries food 1/4 faster than a conventional stove.
    Electric stove.
Almost 2 times faster than usual, but uses electricity for its work.
    Crusher.
Crushes ores and various blocks into dust. 1 block of ore = 2 dust. One ingot is obtained from each dust, with this method of processing, the process of extracting ore is 2 times more profitable.
    Extractor.
Used for squeezing. Recycling rubber in the extractor is much more profitable, since 1 rubber produces 3 units of rubber.
    Compressor.
Compresses different materials. It is used for the production of a composite, as well as the creation of artificial diamonds from coal.
    Utilizer.
Recycles absolutely any block, dropping salvage with some chance. Useful for recycling leftover earth, cobblestones and other things.
