Important nuances in flower packaging

These simple tips will help you master the art of flower wrapping.

  1. Packing flowers is very easy. To do this, you need to roll up the packaging material in the form of a cone or a pointed envelope, place a flower arrangement inside and decorate the bouquet with selected decorative elements. For work, you will need a stapler, adhesive tape or floral tape.
  2. When choosing the color of the packaging, it is better to focus on discreet, natural tones. This will help to focus on the colors, and not on the packaging. It is also a good option to choose starting materials to match the buds themselves.
  3. Try not to overdo it with the decor: the fewer elements you use, the more sophisticated the whole composition will look.
  4. Always remember that the packaging only emphasizes the elegance and beauty of the bouquet itself, it should not be the center of attention. To do this, do not make the packaging too voluminous or bright.

Flowers are a universal gift for any occasion. They talk about the attentive attitude of the giver. A luxurious bouquet, most often, does not require any packaging, but sometimes you can’t do without it. For example, in bad weather, when it is necessary to keep the flowers intact.

Bouquet packaging: basic rules

Before packing flowers, try to find out the tastes of the person to whom you will give them. When packing a bouquet, you should show imagination and use a variety of decorative elements. When decorating, you should follow the universal rules:

  • Packaging for flowers should become a decoration of the bouquet and hide flaws, but not distract attention to yourself.
  • The spiral method of packaging will make the bouquet lush, the round one will add density, and the triangular one is considered mourning by florists.
  • Flowers should not be wrapped in foil or crepe paper, nor should they be presented completely wrapped in cellophane or polyester ribbons. This is considered bad manners.
  • Do not get carried away with decorative elements: they should only place accents and give charm to the bouquet, and not attract the main attention.
  • At present, everything natural is valued, so it is worth using felt, rice paper, sisal, nets, corrugated paper, jute, etc. as decorative elements.

How to pack a bouquet of flowers in an original way?

You will need:

  1. Scissors;
  2. Bouquet of flowers;
  3. Decorative elements (leaves, ribbons, paper, mesh, braid, bows, etc.);
  4. Rice paper.

Instruction:

  • Rewind the stems of the base of the bouquet with tape - this will create additional volume. You can add decorative flowers or other plant elements to the inflorescences. For decoration, you can use a floral grid and ribbons. The floral net looks dignified and keeps the bouquet well.
  • The classic option for packing flowers is a wide satin ribbon, which surrounds the stems in 3 girths. With the help of ribbons, you can completely drape the bottom of the bouquet. By the way, not only satin ribbon is suitable for girdling, but also thin organza, interlining and lace.
  • As a wrapper, you can use corrugated or wrapping paper. Corrugated paper will give the composition lightness, tenderness and fragility. The only disadvantage of such packaging is that the paper deteriorates quickly. Wrapping paper will add style to the bouquet, emphasize simplicity and will not burden it.
  • Use crepe paper or wrapping paper to wrap flowers. Fold in half pattern side down, lay the flowers in such a way that the stems remain below the paper. Now carefully wrap the bouquet on both sides and tie with a beautiful ribbon. The flowers themselves can be moderately decorated with decorative butterflies or bows, without loading the composition.

How beautiful to pack flowers?

Take a bouquet of flowers, tightly collect the stems one by one. Cut carefully. Cover the perimeter with plants with small inflorescences. You can also add peacock feathers, decorative leaves and artificial flowers. See that the bouquet is not overloaded.

Tie the stems with a soft-colored spiral ribbon. Wrap the bouquet with rice paper, cutting openwork flounces at the ends. Gently fold back the cut out frills and secure the wrapper.

Flowers in a pot are a great alternative to a regular bouquet. Such a gift will keep freshness for a long time. To make the flowers look simple, you can pack them beautifully.

  • The easiest way to pack potted flowers is to make a cardboard or paper box. Place the flower pot in the middle of the leaf. You can take a decorative sheet or a colored one. Bend 2 opposite corners and attach to the pot. Do the same with other opposite corners. Decorate paper packaging with decorative elements: beads, ribbons, braid, lace or a cute bow.
  • You can also pack potted flowers in other ways. Take 2 sheets: dense and thin. It is better to take colored or decorative paper. Glue the sheets to each other from the wrong side. Make an original bag: on one side, fold the sheet like a fan, and on the other, bend one corner. Sew 2 ribbons and carefully tie the package. For decoration, any decorative elements are suitable. The main thing is to show imagination.

  • A good packaging option for a flower in a pot is a box in the form of an octagonal prism. Construct a development of this figure, consisting of 8 equal triangles. The total width of the rectangles should be 3 cm larger than the flower pot that you will be packing. Draw a drawing of the bottom and top of the box to one of the rectangles. Add flap strips that will serve as a connecting element. Transfer the drawing to decorative hard cardboard. Cut out, assemble the octahedron along the fold lines and glue it. Packing is ready!
  • The simplest option for packaging a flower in a pot is thin gift paper. Cut out a circle from it, which should be equal to the radius of the pot + the height from the bottom of the pot to the top of the flower + 7 cm. Place the flower pot in the center of the circle, lift the edges of the paper up, forming folds on the sides. Tie the paper on top with a beautiful ribbon and attach a decorative bow.

How to pack flowers: photo

There are many admirers of roses, chrysanthemums, orchids, gladioli, etc. among flower growers. However, handsome Dutchmen occupy a special place in this list, who can give odds to any flower. Usually in stores they are offered without special packaging, using ordinary cellophane as it. However, if you correctly approach the design of a bouquet of tulips, then it can be turned into an exclusive gift. And more important here is not even how beautiful it will look, but what joy it will bring to a person.

Decoration of fresh flowers

To form gift sets it is recommended to use the freshest flowers, which have not blossomed buds. Such bouquets look especially impressive in early spring, when every person has a strong desire to enjoy the gifts of nature. Therefore, for many years now, breeders have been working tirelessly to develop new non-standard, bright varieties of these plants. Therefore, today the range of tulips includes not only flowers of red and yellow shades. These plants differ not only in a variety of colors, but also in shapes. Therefore, if desired, you can purchase plants of such extravagant shades as black and purple.

The perpetrators of the article form excellent compositions with many other plants:

  • roses;
  • ranunculus;
  • hyacinths;
  • callas, etc.

Their long stems make it possible to create cascading and round compositions from them. They can also be presented as a gift as part of various portbouquet holders. Packing the composition is quite simple, because only their presence turns the bouquet into an excellent gift.

Usually tulips are presented for events and holidays of a romantic nature - March 8, first meeting etc. Many take these bouquets on dates. However, if young people have not known each other for so long, then you need to choose a gift in more gentle tones. Therefore, if this is the first meeting, then it is best to use flowers of pink, white, lilac or orange shades, which can be arranged by tying with a delicate ribbon.

A feature of plants is that they have a delicate stem, so when handing it to a girl, she will not be able to get hurt. To keep them attractive for a long time, you do not have to look for a tall and massive vase. It could be any glass container with water. Any person who sees a fragrant and delicate bouquet in front of him will definitely improve his mood.

If we are talking about young people who have long convinced each other of strong feelings, then bright red buds can be presented as a gift for a meeting. Compositions that are placed in a package of bright hearts or other decorative accessories will look great. After all, these flowers are perfectly combined with any background that matches their design.

Flower arrangement for the bride

It is difficult to find another plant of the same kind that could so unobtrusively focus on the delicate beauty of the bride. It looks great not only as an independent gift, but also in combination with some other plants. Using a bouquet of live buds at a wedding will make this event especially memorable, and will also provide an opportunity for the donor to save a considerable amount of money. After all, not everyone is ready to spend money on the purchase of bouquets of classic roses or expensive orchids.

Usually included in include buds of the most delicate shades:

  • whites;
  • pale pink;
  • lilac.

Florists often prefer colors that have contrasting shades. For example, a bouquet made up of white plants, which is complemented by buds, can become a memorable decoration. red, purple or raspberry. This composition becomes more effective if it is presented in combination with bright green leaves. Unforgettable can also be a decoration in which terry and simple buds are used.

Bouquet for the birthday

An arrangement of tulips will be a great birthday present for a close friend or relative. Due to the fact that these flowers have a wide palette, you can create quite unique works from them. They can be formed in one tone or spice up, which can be done with the help of buds of various shades.

However, it must be remembered that the design of bouquets of several shades is a more time-consuming operation. After all, here you will have to use a large number of colors, but such sacrifices will not be in vain, because the finished composition will amaze the person to whom it is intended with its amazing beauty. You can also present as a gift a few bright tulips, created by yourself. So you can pay attention to your individual taste and avoid spending a lot on buying a more expensive gift.

Dutch tulips

In recent years, often bouquets began to form from plants of the Dutch selection. Compared to other plants, they are distinguished by a variety of shapes and shades. Their strong and stalk deserves special attention, which can not be found in every domestic variety. Thanks to this feature, plants do not lose their attractiveness much longer.

In addition, Dutch tulips are characterized by a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Of these flowers, you can make compositions of amazing beauty, because you can include different varieties in them, thereby creating a contrast effect.

Color selection

Often, when choosing a bouquet, people pay attention to the color of its components. There are many women who do not really like yellow buds. Indeed, it is assumed that they are harbingers of an imminent separation. Usually, when men who do not have knowledge of floristry choose flowers, they often prefer red buds.

Such an approach to buying indicates the conservatism of a person. However, if the plants are intended for an official event, then such a choice can be considered correct. Young people who are used to acting outside the box often donate compositions that have buds of positive shades, which are often complemented by buds of other colors. Presenting such a bouquet, a person demonstrates the sharpness of thinking and original taste.

If the gift is intended for business partners, then it is best to use bright orange tulips. This can be explained by a stereotype: it is believed that they symbolize the desire for success and good luck in business.

People who tend to think outside the box can present a composition of black buds. Although in reality there are none: these flowers are not, as they have a dark purple hue. However, due to its excessive saturation, it gives the impression of black. It would be right to give such plants only to those people who will help to appreciate such a joke and will be able to accept them without seeing the features of “mourning” in them.

How long do flowers last?

For any bouquet there is a certain period during which it remains fresh and attractive. Naturally, appropriate conditions must be created for this.

Conclusion

Tulips are one of the brightest types of flowers that can be presented as a gift. However, you can always achieve a much greater effect than if you simply hand them to the person for whom they are intended. There are many different situations for which it is necessary to correctly compose bouquets. You should know that plants can be not only an independent set, but also be part of more complex compositions.

Naturally, in the latter case, it will not be easy for an ordinary buyer to correctly form a composition. Therefore, the help of an experienced florist may be required here. However, if you bring the matter to the end, then the result will amaze not only you, but also your dear person, to whom you want to give a bouquet of tulips.

The first of September is approaching, and with it convulsive thoughts about what bouquet to buy for a child in school. At the same time, many of us have a dacha or even one that is probably full of beautiful flowers. However, just cutting a few roses or chrysanthemums is not enough. - the bouquet should have a spectacular appearance, which is most often achieved through festive packaging.

If, after these thoughts, you want to sigh sadly and go to a flower shop, where everything will be beautifully packaged for your money, then we recommend that you take your time and read our article today, where we will tell you in detail how you can skillfully pack the most ordinary flowers in such a way that you will envy any florist!

kraft paper

Unsightly in the past, kraft paper sheets have become extraordinarily popular these days. Now everything is packed in them - from groceries to birthday gifts. It turns out that they can also become a very stylish wrapper for a bouquet! All you need is a piece of paper and a pretty ribbon for decoration.

The very principle of wrapping flowers can be different, for example, the photo below shows the packaging of a bouquet in the “tie loop” style.

Kraft sheets can also be successfully combined with other paper, for example, with rustling leaves of silence or bright magazine clippings. And if you are a musician, then old music sheets will suddenly come in handy!

Ropes and ribbons

If the flowers from your bouquet have long stems or the bouquet itself is too small for a large package, then you can use ordinary threads. First secure the stems securely with a regular rubber band so that they do not spread in the process. Then wrap the flower stems very tightly with contrasting thread - there should not be any gaps! Finish off with a flirty bow.

If the flower stems are too thick and the bouquet is as wide as your hand, you can, on the contrary, tie the stems in a spiral. True, in this case, you will have to cut them off, making them much shorter. But the bouquet itself will take on an original look!

Sackcloth

Of course, not every home has burlap, so it can hardly be called with full confidence the packaging “from what is at hand”. However, if you suddenly find pieces of such material, then it can be a great decoration for flowers! Especially burlap is suitable for a bouquet of field plants.

The principle of operation is nowhere simpler: we wrap the flowers with a piece of burlap (the edges do not even need to be processed, leave them carelessly shaggy) and fasten with any ribbon or rope. Bouquet in the style of "rural chic" is ready!

Cloth + funny cards

If you've always enjoyed leaving your loved ones funny messages or giving funny cards, then you might as well do the same with bouquet wrapping. Write (or print) funny messages on heavy card stock, then cut off a piece of brightly colored fabric and prepare ribbons in the right color.

Secure the stems of the bouquet securely with ribbon, then arrange the square of fabric in a diamond shape. Lay the bouquet on it so that the top corner is slightly higher than the flowers. Then wrap the other corners around the flowers and secure securely. Finally, use ribbons to attach a card with a message.

Package bag

If you once bought an eco-bag for rational grocery shopping, but it didn’t come in handy for you, then it’s time to put it into action. This packaging option is suitable for those cases when the bouquet needs to be carried far.

Cut off the bottom of the bag and make several symmetrical holes through which you will thread the rope or ribbon. Next, you will only need to place a bouquet in the bag, tighten the cord - and forward, deliver flowers to the person to whom they are intended.

Even the most charming diamond always needs an appropriate “set” that will complement and emphasize its charming luxury. The same rule applies to flowers - a bouquet can be considered truly ready when it is packed. Packaging, sometimes, should be given no less attention than the choice of colors for the composition, because it is she who will emphasize the “concept” and add charm to the gift. The choice of packaging requires the most thoughtful approach - the perception of the bouquet depends on the design.

High-quality packaging will not only decorate the bouquet, but also retain its attractiveness. This is especially important for wedding compositions, which will be subjected to a variety of tests throughout the ceremony.

How to pack a bouquet - design rules

Florists have developed several rules for packing bouquets, and you should familiarize yourself with them before proceeding with:

  • packaging should not play the "main violin" in the bouquet - it should only complement the flowers, but not distract attention from them;
  • depending on the shape of the bouquet, you should choose the type of packaging. So, for example, a spiral design will add lush accents, and a round one will make a laconic bouquet more dense. You should not use a triangular type of packaging - it is appropriate only for mourning bouquets;
  • forget about foil or paper packaging, it looks tasteless and ugly. The only purpose of this type of decoration is to keep the bouquet until it is “dressed up”. In addition, we would not recommend paying too much attention to decorative ribbons: of course, they can make a good accent, but using them as the main design element is not the best solution;
  • use natural materials for packaging - it's fashionable, aesthetically pleasing and incredibly beautiful.

As in everything related to flowers, the main thing in the design is a sense of proportion and refined taste. No one will dictate to you how to properly pack flowers, it all depends on your imagination.

How to arrange a bouquet with your own hands?

It's time to be imaginative and creative! Now you will learn how to arrange a bouquet with your own hands. We will tell you how to beautifully pack a bouquet in rice paper. So let's get started:

  • fasten the stems of flowers with floral tape, so you get a voluminous and well-fixed composition that will not crumble into separate components in your hands. Keep in mind that in no case should the stems be fastened with tape, this is considered bad form;
  • decorate the bouquet with a satin ribbon (we recommend girdling the bottom of the composition);
  • prepare rice paper, place a bouquet on it (the ends of the stems should extend beyond the edge of the paper), carefully wrap the flowers and secure the package with a ribbon that matches the color. You can use the same satin ribbon instead if you didn't do it in the previous step.

Beautiful and original bouquets of flowers are an essential attribute of a gift and a wonderful addition to anything for any occasion, be it a birthday, wedding or family celebration. All the fair sex, without exception, will be happy with beautiful flowers.

Fashion trends dictate their own rules, which concern not only the sphere of fashion, but also floristry. Knowing about these subtleties, you can easily create a floral gift that will not only pleasantly surprise you, but will also be remembered for a lifetime as a happy and pleasant moment associated with the giver.

Master class: round bouquet with a decorative mesh

Dear friends, have you noticed that buyers flock to a beautifully decorated flower showcase like bees to honey? Especially if it attracts attention with its richness and diversity, and each individual bouquet has its own character and style. Therefore, the more flower design options you use in your flower shop, the higher the likelihood that the buyer will find exactly what he likes.

Today we invite you to take a simple step-by-step master class with us on how to make a round bouquet using a decorative grid. Having made such a bouquet once, you will be happy to make it again and again, because such unpretentious, but spectacular compositions will scatter like hot cakes.

For work we need: - from 7 to 17 branches of white chrysanthemum;

— floristic paints-aerosols of various colors;

- any decorative mesh;

- decorative clothespin and stones-beads.

1. Before starting work, we will tint the flowers a little. We paint each branch of chrysanthemum in its own color, spraying paint into the center of each flower.

The more branches of chrysanthemum, the richer the bouquet will look and, accordingly, the price will be higher.

2. When the flowers are colored, we begin to make a bouquet, laying out branches from the central flower in a circle. In each next circle, we place the branches a little lower, as if at an angle, to make a ball. With this method of drawing up the bouquet will turn out to be very lush and attractive. In case there are few flowers, we simply make up the branches to each other. Don't forget to use greens. We use bergrass and ruscus. Next, we tie the bouquet and trim the roots a little.

3. Now let's move on to packaging. We use a grid, but not quite ordinary, but somehow rubberized to the touch. From it we cut off three not too wide strips; one, narrower - for the legs and two identical, slightly wider - for decorating the bouquet. You can also cut square pieces, but in order to save material, we still recommend that you use rectangular ones. This will not affect the appearance of the bouquet, but the nets will take half as much!

4. We take one of the two identical strips of the grid and bend it into a triangle from above, then we fix the triangle with a stapler. We do the same with the second strip.

5. Next, we take our bouquet and lay it on a piece of mesh so that the triangle looks up, then we wrap the bouquet in the mesh and fix the material with a stapler. We frame the bouquet on the opposite side with the next strip according to the same principle and fix it from below. We tie the bouquet with a ribbon. Thus, in our bouquet, ears were formed, protruding in different directions.

6. The next step is to tuck our ears and secure them with a stapler. There are many ways to do this and you can use any of them. So, we have a beautiful round bouquet!

7. Now the leg. We take a narrower piece of mesh and wrap the flower legs around it in a spiral, then tie it with a ribbon from below.

8. Decorative elements will help bring even more summer and sun into our composition. We will put a decorative wooden clothespin-flower on a branch of ruscus, and we will string beads-pebbles on the leaves of bergrass. Our bouquet is ready to please customers!

If your point of sale is located outside, we recommend using additional packaging - regular transparent film. Then the flowers will not become weathered and will not lose their freshness and beauty.

From above, the corners of the package can be decorated with butterflies - pieces of mesh, tied with a ribbon in the center.

We thank you for your work and believe that the new practice was useful and will bring you good profit in the future.

Wrapping film is one of the common types of packaging material. It can be transparent, with a pattern, multi-colored or plain.

Using a bag of film to decorate a bouquet, you will need adhesive tape and a stapler. To highlight each flower of the composition, their stems are laid at small angles. The base of the stems is wrapped with tape to add volume. The bouquet is wrapped in a wrapping film. With the help of a stapler, folds are made. A beautiful and elegant bouquet is ready.

Mesh for packaging

Synthetic mesh is gaining more and more popularity. It comes with a striped or rhombus pattern. It can also be with the addition of Lurex and without.

Nets made of natural materials look beautiful. They are made from interlining, jute, burlap, rattan and sisal.

The advantage of mesh packaging is its strength and flexibility. This allows you to transport the bouquet without fear for its safety.

Also, the grid gives additional volume to flower arrangements. Green ornamental plants are perfectly combined with a floristic grid.

corrugated paper

The airiness of the composition of flowers will be added by packaging made of corrugated paper. But you need to work with it very carefully, as it is easily torn and quickly loses its appearance.

One of the design options is a package that looks like an hourglass shape. For this:

  • corrugated paper must be collected in the form of an accordion;
  • place the bouquet in the middle;
  • wrap flowers;
  • tie with a ribbon.

Rice paper

To elegantly wrap a bouquet with rice paper, you need to collect flowers so that their stems fit snugly together. Stems that are too long should be cut back.

Flowers with small inflorescences should be placed around the perimeter of the composition. You can also add various decorative elements. But do not get carried away, as the bouquet should not look overloaded.

Wrapping paper

Simply and tastefully, you can arrange a bouquet using ordinary wrapping paper. It is necessary to cut the paper of a suitable size, fold and wrap the flowers. You can tie with a tourniquet or a thick thread. A note with affectionate words will add romance to the bouquet.

kraft paper

Similarly, bouquets are packed using kraft paper. A distinctive feature is the original drawing, which can be selected in accordance with the desired theme.

The vintage style of such paper attracts and disposes to itself.

Satin ribbon

You can decorate a flower arrangement without the use of special packaging materials using a wide satin ribbon.

You need to pick up a ribbon of a suitable color and wrap the stems around it several times and tie a bow.

For small bouquets, you can wrap the stems to the base. For large compositions, you can leave the ends of the stems open.

Satin ribbon can be replaced with lace, or a translucent fabric can be used.

Packing methods

Depending on how the flowers are packaged, they will look different.

To give the bouquet splendor, you should use the spiral packaging method.

To get a denser composition, it is recommended to choose the round method.

Flowers in a pot

You can give not only bouquets, but also fresh flowers in pots.

The original packaging is a paper box. A flowerpot with a flower is placed on a suitable paper sheet with a pattern. Then you need to bend the opposite corners and fix them on the pot. It remains only to decorate the gift with decorative elements in the form of ribbons, braid, a bow or beads.

You can also use corrugated paper. It is necessary to cut blanks of a suitable size and fluff the edges. Then you should wrap the pot and tie it with a ribbon.

An interesting design option is a box of any shape. A hole is cut in the lid. Its size should be such that a flower passes through it.

Then the pot is placed in a box and tied with a ribbon.

  2. Bouquet of flowers;
  3. Decorative elements (leaves, ribbons, paper, mesh, braid, bows, etc.);

  • In any case, fresh flowers require the right design. The materials and colors used should emphasize and reveal the beauty of natural flowers. Bouquet decoration- a difficult job that requires not only accuracy and dexterity, but also a sense of taste and rich imagination. Bouquet decoration is creativity.

    To arrange a bouquet, it is best to ask what kind of flowers (and colors) the person to whom this bouquet is intended likes. The individuality of the design will emphasize not only how well you know the person, but also what you tried to make him especially pleased.

    In addition, you need to know a few rules that all florists use:

    • bouquet packaging should emphasize all the advantages of flowers and hide their flaws, it must be combined with flowers (shade or contrast);
    • flowers completely wrapped in cellophane or foil will not be a pleasant gift. Moreover, giving such bouquets is a bad form;
    • crepe paper and polyester ribbons have long gone out of fashion. Do not decorate fresh flowers with these materials;

    • to make the bouquet look good and stand for a long time, flowers for it are cut early in the morning and stored at low temperatures;
    • when adding ornamental plants or dried flowers to the bouquet, be careful. Not all flowers blend harmoniously and endure the neighborhood well.

    How beautiful to arrange a bouquet with your own hands

    There are many different techniques for creating original bouquets. Some of them are very complex, consisting of many stages and require special skills, while others are much simpler.

    We tried to summarize the information on how bouquets are made in such a way as to derive a small universal formula.

    So, to create a bouquet you will need:

    • scissors,
    • scotch,
    • various decorative items
    • rice paper / crepe paper / wrapping paper (it can also be floristic mesh or burlap)
    • and the flowers themselves.

    Before you begin to arrange a bouquet, be sure to cut off the edge of the stem of each flower and put them in fresh water. This way you will let the flowers saturate before being exposed to the air for a long time.

    To make your bouquet look voluminous, wrap the stems with tape several times at the base.

    If you are using a floral grid, then pick up additional ornamental plants, they blend wonderfully.

    You can beautifully arrange a bouquet with almost no packaging materials. All you need is a wide satin ribbon in the right color. Wrap the flower stems with this ribbon and tie a beautiful bow. You can leave the edges of the stems open, or you can hide them with tape (more suitable for small bouquets with a short stem). Do not forget to use your imagination, try replacing the ribbon with lace or a translucent fabric.

    To make a beautiful lush bouquet, take corrugated paper. She will be able to give him not only lightness, but also additional volume. If you want to give a delicate and romantic bouquet, then rice paper will help you. She is simply made for such bouquets. For “business” and official bouquets, wrapping paper is the most suitable, which perfectly emphasizes the beauty of flowers without adding unnecessary meanings.

    The disadvantage of such paper packaging is that it is rather fragile and short-lived. If you are going to give a bouquet immediately after you pack it, you can safely use any kind of paper. For bouquets that will have to wait for their new owner for several hours, paper packaging will not work.

    But the floristic mesh will not lose its spectacular appearance either after 2 hours or after 2 days. Such bouquets will please the eye until the flowers wither. If you have a complex bouquet of different flowers that tolerate a lack of water in different ways, then use a floral grid. She will support the flowers until the stems are in the vase.

    Do not forget about decorative elements: ribbons from various materials, lace, small textile flowers, paper butterflies, beads, sisal and much more. All this variety you can use to give the bouquet a personality.

    Master class number 2: bouquet design

    Someone thinks that floristry is a simple activity that everyone can learn. Others believe that natural or artificial floristry is an impossible task for an ordinary person who does not have the proper knowledge, skills, artistic taste and creative thinking. In fact, both the first and second statements are true.

    Floristry is an arts and crafts of assembling various flower arrangements, which has its own technical and creative side. And this means that really everyone can learn - first of all, if there is a desire. Therefore, if the birthday of your beloved friend, mother is approaching, or roses have simply blossomed in the garden, do not postpone your first lesson and try to assemble a bouquet yourself. Simple and understandable recommendations of an experienced florist will help in this.

    Information: The main task of floristry is to provide floral decoration of the interior, attire, cars for the holiday, the preparation of everyday compositions for work, retail and residential premises, as well as the assembly of bouquets of various types and purposes. In addition, the florist can create accessories from flowers - frames, arches, garlands, baskets, handbags and even necklaces with bracelets.

    Preparatory stage

    The assembly of bouquets begins with the preparation of raw materials and tools. Raw materials are, first of all, the flowers themselves, as well as auxiliary elements:

    • small buds and flowers;
    • green twigs, herbs, ferns;
    • decorative accessories - butterflies, bears, hearts, etc.

    Of the tools, you definitely need scissors or a pruner, a knife, a stapler, stationery adhesive tape will speed up and facilitate the work (florists use a special professional one). You will need a decorative mesh, film or paper to wrap the finished bouquet, perhaps some additional tools or decorative details.

    Important: in order for the bouquet to look harmonious, one simple rule should be remembered: that part of it that will be in a bunch or in a vase is approximately one third of the total height of the composition. There are other proportions - five parts of the height of the flowers remain outside, three parts are immersed in a vase. This rule works for classic vertical bouquets.

    Assembly options

    Florists have several ways to assemble bouquets. You can’t just gather flowers and greenery in an armful, tie it with twine and wrap it with oilcloth - it will be ugly and sloppy. Although in some cases professionals use just such a technique to get an original and unusual composition. But for beginners, it is better to get acquainted with the classic techniques of assembling bouquets, and then move on to creative experiments. There are the following main types:

    1. Parallel.
    2. Spiral.
    3. Asymmetric.
