How to learn to write beautiful handwriting: calligraphy lesson. How to make beautiful handwriting? Is it possible to learn to write beautifully? The art of writing in a smooth and beautiful handwriting

Hello dear readers! Electronic technologies leave fewer and fewer opportunities to practice and hone beautiful handwriting, few people choose the epistolary genre for correspondence, and most documents can only be signed, because they were originally typed on a computer.

Why do we need good handwriting?

Graceful and neat handwriting must be perfected, because there are still situations in which it is necessary to write only by hand, and if the words are illegible, you, firstly, may not be understood, and secondly, you will irritate the reader. After all, it can determine the nature of a person. There is even a science - graphology, which does just that.

In general, if you want to arouse the admiration and respect of others, especially if you are running a business, an expensive elegant suit will not be enough. And if you write like a chicken with a paw, do not despair, with a certain amount of effort, you can achieve the necessary results.

Rules and preparation

To learn calligraphy, you must adhere to the following rules:

1. How to hold the pen

  1. The pen should be held gently, without straining your fingers, otherwise the lines will not turn out even. red speck If there is a red speck on the inside of the middle finger, then you overdo it.
  2. There are several ways to properly hold a pen:
  • Thumb and forefinger, moreover, it should rest on the middle one.
  • Or all three, only the tips themselves. In this version, the index finger will be the fulcrum.

2. Landing and warm-up

  • Do gymnastics. First, draw the entire alphabet in the air with each hand, then knead the hands and each finger separately, squeeze strongly and sharply open your fists. Let this process take about 5 minutes, but in the future, tension will not be felt in the hands, which will positively affect the quality of work. If you feel that the sensations become unpleasant, take a break and repeat the gymnastics.
  • Remember, at school, they constantly made comments to those who stooped while sitting at their desks? And it is not in vain that, besides the fact that it is unhealthy, the back and arms will quickly get tired, which is why calligraphic handwriting will not work. But the elbows should “hang” a little from the table, the head is allowed to tilt forward a little.
  • The distance from the sheet should be at least 30 cm, so that the eyes do not get tired, and there is no temptation to hunch your back.
  • Classes should be held in complete silence so that you can concentrate. And at least half an hour a day.
  • A sheet of paper on the table should be positioned so that its upper left corner is slightly higher than the right, so you can control the slope of the letters, plus everything, it will allow you to relax the brush.

3.Basic rules

  • The pace should not be very fast, but you should not “hover” over each letter either. Try to smoothly remove curls in one rhythm.
  • Make sure that the letters are the same size, as well as the distance between them, spaces. Also, do not forget about punctuation marks, which should be clear and the same.
  • Another point in which they usually make a mistake is that it is necessary to “output” not only with your fingers, but also involve the whole hand in the process, then the lines will be smooth.

Action algorithm

  1. First of all, you should learn how to draw straight vertical lines, then with a slight slope. Yes, not only in a child, but also in an adult, this activity can cause boredom and reluctance, but this is important.
  2. Now draw hooks and waves. This will help in the future to give beauty and grace to your work. Experiment with the width of the stroke, start with a thin one, gradually thickening it to harmoniously finish with a thick one.
  3. Move on to new swirls and curved line shapes.
  4. It's time for the letters. Start with one, for example, the very first in the alphabet, and do not move on to the next one until you learn how to draw it almost perfectly.
  5. After mastering each of them, try to deduce connections by starting to add words, or even sentences.
  6. Don't forget also that you will need to practice how to write numbers and symbols, such as a dog or a dollar sign.
  7. Now, having perfected our calligraphy skills, we can “refresh” or come up with a completely new signature. On the Internet you can find a lot of elegant examples, sometimes similar to a work of art.
  8. When you feel satisfaction from the results, you should not relax, now learn to work just as beautifully, but quickly. First, note the time during which you display the sentence, reset a few seconds and try, accelerating, to meet it. Then complicate the task by competing with yourself.
  • Lay out many different pens in front of you, and print the same symbol or letter for each. This technique will help determine which one of them gives you the best smooth and neat lines in order to choose it in the future. Experts usually recommend gel, but everyone has their own preferences.
  • Get also calligraphy manuals for children, because the instructions and rules are common, the same for everyone.
  • Connect close people to this process, because, in addition to the fact that the general idea, in your case, how to make handwriting elegant and neat, brings you closer, you can also help each other by dictating the text or arranging competitions, who will make fewer mistakes, faster finished and, of course, beautifully designed, clearly and understandably.
  • Place a special lined matrix under the sheet, and use until even letters are automatically obtained, without sliding down or up.
  • Slanted words to the right, about 45 degrees, look very elegant. But you can practice to invent your own personal, beautiful writing style.
  • Find templates on the Internet, look at the existing ones in Word, select interesting text and rewrite in different styles, then choose one to improve.
  • If you have read an article about

Beautiful handwriting is an optional but very useful skill. The clear spelling of words by schoolchildren helps teachers and parents to understand words well, and the student himself can better navigate his notes and memorize grammar rules. Today we will learn what factors influence the formation of handwriting, and consider several exercises and tips for developing beautiful writing.

Handwriting formation

The formation of handwriting is a rather lengthy process. It starts at preschool age (when a child picks up a pen/pencil for the first time and tries to draw something) and ends at the age of 20-25 years. The process of formation and consolidation of handwriting is influenced by:

  • Anatomical and physiological features of the child. What hand does he write with (right, left, both), how does he hold a pen when writing, what size are his palms and fingers, what is his usual posture when writing texts, etc.
  • temperament type. It affects the character, perseverance, the ability to work long and hard, which in turn form one or another handwriting. For example, choleric children are in constant motion, unable to perform monotonous work for a long time, fast. Therefore, the handwriting of such children is very often illegible, the letters are uneven, "jumping", have a different size. In phlegmatic people, on the contrary, the written words and lines are even, clear, often small, but the same and very neat. This is explained by their calm nature, the ability to slowly and thoroughly perform any work, to engage in one type of activity for a long time.
  • The quality and quantity of writing practice. The more often the child writes and at the same time tries, the more clear and beautiful his handwriting will be. The quality of writing practice is understood as the correct posture when writing, the convenient location of a sheet of paper on a plane and the perseverance of the student.

The influence of these factors is decisive, but quite amenable to correction. Special exercises and simple tricks will help to form an ideal handwriting in a child or correct writing shortcomings in older students and adults.

Tips and exercises for beautiful handwriting

The sooner serious handwriting training begins, the clearer and more beautiful it will be. With age, it is more difficult to straighten a letter, but it is quite possible if you have a great desire and spare no effort.

The main desire

The desire to have calligraphic handwriting is a great motivation to start exercising and training. But children very often do not strive to write clearly and beautifully, and some do not even understand why this is necessary, because we live in the age of computer technology. In these cases, you can motivate the child in one of the following ways:

  • Discuss the importance of clear handwriting. A neat and beautiful letter allows you to better understand what is written both by the student himself and by strangers, develops creativity, and can bring additional benefits to the student (for example, the child will be asked to sign posters, wall newspapers, etc.).
  • Introduce a reward system. You can attract a child to cooperate in working on handwriting by promising him the purchase of the desired thing for the successful completion of tasks, freeing him from part of the household duties, etc.
  • Play on the pride of a child. If the student loves to be the first in everything and strives for success in different areas, then you can show him that beautiful handwriting is admired by other people, is a role model, etc.

We develop fine motor skills

Good fine motor skills of the hands allow you to more confidently handle writing instruments, which contributes to the straightening of handwriting. To help develop this skill:

  • Practice with plastic materials. These are plasticine, clay, salt dough, etc. It is enough to sculpt some figures several times a week, gradually complicating the task and adding small details.

  • Beadwork, sorting of beads. Preschool children can be given special educational toys in which it is necessary to move small balls from one place to another. Older children can be occupied with needlework: creating beads and bracelets, weaving various figurines and jewelry from beads, and embroidering with beads.
  • Folding buttons of various diameters. It is important that the exercise is performed with both hands at the same time.
  • Connecting dots. This seemingly simple exercise allows you to develop coordination of movements, establish eye-hand contact, and teach you how to perform precise actions on paper. You can use ready-made dotted/dotted drawings from children's books or create a path to connect yourself.
  • Finger massage. You can do it yourself: carefully knead each finger with your other hand.

Recipe

This is an ideal option for practicing beautiful handwriting for children of all ages and even adults. Regular and diligent writing of letters according to the model helps to consolidate the skill of writing in a certain way.

IMPORTANT! Entries in the prescriptions must be checked. If the child strongly deviates from the given sample, it is necessary to correct inaccuracies, show how to write correctly, direct the hand. The explanation can be verbal, accompanied by a demonstration of the correct spelling of the symbol, leading the child's hand with the hand of an adult.

Drawing (copying)

Another great way to straighten out handwriting is to copy (copy) various characters and images. To begin with, the child is given simple samples (for example, redrawing a geometric figure on checkered paper), then the task becomes more complicated (an unlined sheet is given, details are added to the image, etc.).

Outputting each letter

Diligence and perseverance are important for handwriting training. The child needs to carefully display each sign, trying to bring its writing as close as possible to the exemplary one. Video tutorials will help a lot in this, where it is shown in detail how to write a particular letter (you can use the alphabet of absolutely any language). At first, the student simply looks at how to write. Then performs actions in conjunction with the video. And, finally, prints characters from memory.

You can set the time for writing each type of letter in seconds (for example, 5-6 seconds). The child should not spend less than the set time on the performance of the action. This will ensure the necessary accuracy and thoroughness.

Choosing the right writing utensils

Surely you have noticed that the beauty and clarity of handwriting depends on the type of pen or pencil with which we write. That is why it is important to choose comfortable writing accessories: try pens with different types of paste, with different thicknesses of the core and body. Pen/pencil size and paper type are also important factors. The latter should not be too thin or too transparent (the symbols written on the previous page are visible).

Choosing a comfortable posture

It is very important that the student practice their handwriting in the correct posture. The back is straight, the writing hand lies completely on the table (it is unacceptable for the elbow to hang down). Exercises must be performed strictly on a hard surface. The remaining nuances of the posture (tilt of the head, rotation of the torso, position of the legs, etc.) are selected by the student himself, depending on how it is most convenient for him.

A few secrets of beautiful handwriting

Sometimes it is enough to correct minor points so that the handwriting becomes clear, beautiful, understandable. There are some tricks for this:

  • Try to write letters evenly, without tilt. Capital letters are not always prettier than printed ones, and wrong connections often spoil the whole picture. Writing characters without slanting will visually make handwriting business-like, clear and compact.
  • All letters must be the same size. Only the capital letter has differences, the rest must have the same height and similar width. For training, you can draw a sheet into thin stripes and write letters within one line, limited at the top and bottom.
  • There should be sufficient space between words. Do not make the space too short - this can cause the words to merge into one continuous text. To begin with, you can make a distance equal to the tip of a pen / pencil, simply substituting it for the last letter of the word. Further, the required space will be placed automatically.
  • Try to use as few abbreviations as possible. This is especially true for texts that will be read by other people. Abbreviations visually make words and sentences chopped off and may simply be incomprehensible.

More practice!

And last but not least, give your child as much practice as possible. In every possible way support his desire to improve his handwriting, praise him for his successes and do not criticize if something does not work out. Let there always be copybooks in the house, a large amount of paper and writing instruments of various types.

You can turn handwriting exercises into an exciting game or competition. More often ask the student to write letters, shopping lists, sign postcards, etc. If it is possible to write something by hand and not type it on a computer, then be sure to insist on the first option.

Smooth, clear and beautiful handwriting is a matter of pride for a student. It greatly facilitates the understanding of the written text, contributes to the development of creative abilities and better memorization of grammar. In many ways, the type of handwriting is determined by the natural characteristics of a person, but with great desire and perseverance, you can develop the perfect spelling at any age.

It may seem that writing skills are completely unsuitable in today's society. Less and less often, the pen ends up in our hands, because the necessary information can be found on the Internet or photographed on a mobile phone camera. However, beautiful handwriting is still admired.

If you think that the formed style of writing can no longer be changed, then you will be surprised how plastic a person can be. A few weeks and even days of training - and you will notice the result. By learning how to write beautifully, you can make adjustments to your handwriting. What are the advantages? The signature will be the same on all documents, you will be able to fill out postcards for relatives and friends, and you can easily sort out your own notes.

Are you ready to learn the secret of the right letter?

How to learn to write beautifully in calligraphic handwriting?

Calligraphy is ancient art of beautiful writing. You have definitely heard about the Chinese school, where people learn to write hieroglyphs correctly for years. Of course, such a science requires not only time, but also strength. The Cyrillic school has also existed for many centuries, but you do not need to spend your entire life studying the smallest aspects of writing. If you want to know how to learn to write beautifully, then be prepared for constant training. Practice in this case is much more important than theory.

You have already come across the principles of calligraphy, although you may not have realized it. Recipe, which are used in elementary grades, is a real example of simplified Cyrillic calligraphy. Of course, ornate letters, which take several minutes to draw correctly, will not be useful to either children or adults in ordinary life. But such a “simple” option will help achieve even handwriting.

You can purchase prescriptions at an office supply store and then start exercising.

You always need to start with one more thing familiar from school years - hand gymnastics. Remember the nursery rhyme “We wrote, we wrote, our fingers were tired…”? This is the kind of “exercises” that you need to arrange before each workout.

First, circular movements with the brush, then flexion-extension of the fingers. After that, stretching the brush and clenching into fists. Such gymnastics will significantly simplify your task and prepare your hands for the upcoming load.

Pay attention also to workplace preparation. In an uncomfortable position, you will not be able to concentrate on writing.

The desk should be free of other items (stacks of books, laptop, tea and coffee mugs), it should have sheets of paper, copybooks and a few pens. Sit in a chair with a back or in an office chair with your back straight. Remember that the elbows must be on the table, if they "hang in the air", then you have taken the wrong position. The distance between your eyes and a sheet of paper should be at least 30 centimeters. If you can't see well, use glasses, but don't slouch and keep your back straight.

How to learn to write beautifully with a pen?

Do not try to immediately sit down at the copybook and "mint" letters. It is best to break them down into individual elements: curls, curves, complex transitions. See what patterns you're having trouble writing with. It is this approach that will bring quick positive results. Having learned how to display all the complex elements, do not go to the letters, but try to increase the speed. A fast pace makes the task more difficult, but allows you to bring the movements to automatism.

Only after that you can start working with prescriptions. Start with the first letter and slowly remove all the elements, trying to get closer to the original. Make sure not only that the letters look like the pattern, but also that they are located inside the line.

Pay attention to:

  • letter size;
  • maintaining the same slope;
  • word endings (they often “slide” or “bully” when writing quickly);
  • even spaces between words;
  • punctuation marks and numbers (you should also learn how to write them correctly).

There is no secret in how to learn to write beautifully with a pen. All you need is patience, perseverance and the desire to change your handwriting. And yet we advise you to use handles of different shapes in the process of training. You will notice that they are insignificant, but they all affect the final result. Remember the shape that allows you to write beautifully and quickly, try to use only such pens.

How to learn to write beautifully in 5 minutes?

Perfect handwriting is a painstaking work that requires time and effort. If you want to know how to learn to write beautifully in 5 minutes, then the answer will disappoint you. Daily workouts should last at least 15-20 minutes, otherwise all your efforts will be in vain.

How to learn to write beautifully with your left hand?

Why would a person who can write with his right hand learn to write with his left? There are many answers to this question. First of all, such exercises are useful for the brain, because they develop the second hemisphere. Another “plus” is the second working hand, such a skill will come in handy in the future. In addition, many find this process interesting, developing willpower, as well as creative skills. It is possible that you can draw much better with your left hand than with your right.

How to learn to write beautifully with your left hand? Take a standard position at the table: a straight back, the distance to a sheet of paper is 30 centimeters. Place the sheet with the left corner up. This will make it much easier for you to type the letters.

Start writing in capital letters trying to make them as simple and understandable as possible. Take your time and don't get carried away with calligraphy. Your task at this stage is teach the left hand to the handle and regular physical activity. Be prepared for the fact that your fingers will quickly get tired, and the pen will slip out of your hands. These sensations will pass through a few workouts. Take small breaks every ten minutes.

Once your hands get used to the load, start working with prescriptions. Remember that your goal is not speed, but the maximum resemblance to the original. If the constant repetition of letters seems too boring for you, then try working with simple text. It is best to keep it in front of your eyes, and not invent it.

Increase the rate of writing is possible only after you learn how to print all the letters of the alphabet, numbers and punctuation marks with your left hand. This work will take a lot of time, but the result will certainly surprise you.

Instruction

For classes, you need to prepare tools: two notebooks in an oblique line, like first-graders, two ordinary notebooks, a fountain pen that will comfortably “lie” in your hand and will not cause discomfort during classes. The paste (ink) should come out from under the ball of the rod easily, but not "smear" the paper. Psychological comfort in such classes is one of the main keys to success. Experts recommend turning on your favorite slow music during lessons, spraying pleasant, not harsh aromatic products in the room. It is important to understand what should be enjoyable, not annoying. Only this approach will provide excellent results in a short time.

At the second stage, it is necessary to analyze what kind of problems there are with handwriting. Rewrite a small text, about half a notebook page. Look carefully at each letter and combination of letters, highlight those that look especially clumsy and sloppy, which will be difficult for another person to understand. Problematic “moments” need to be written out in another notebook - each on a separate page. You need to transfer them not the way you usually write, but the way they should be written, in accordance with the rules of calligraphy. In any library you can find calligraphy textbooks, but if you are too lazy to visit them, you can find manuals on the net and them. Most of the books of this type are provided to users.

Your first calligraphy class doesn't have to be long. It is enough to write in a prepared notebook a few characters on each page. For some, it is easier to master first one letter or a combination of letters, and then proceed to the next page in a self-prepared copybook. You need to start classes in a notebook "in an oblique" line. Such a line disciplines, teaches you to maintain the necessary slope of the letters and make them the same in size. You can proceed to the next stage only when you are sure to draw clear and understandable characters that comply with the rules of calligraphy. As an experiment, you can rewrite small texts or sentences in a notebook with a regular line or on a sheet without marking. But you should not rush, it is better to be patient, then the result will be as expected and desired.

Special gymnastics for hands and fingers is very important during the period of handwriting correction classes. Its main task is to make the fingers plastic, sensitive and strong. Calligraphers recommend the following exercises:
circular rotations with brushes,
wrist flexion,
rhythmic clenching and unclenching of the fist,
circular finger movements
"lock",
fan-shaped movements.
Needlework is useful, picking up pictures from puzzles and designers from small parts. It is better to choose those models of puzzles and puzzles that consist of a large number of parts. For classes with them, you can take a separate corner in the house, and not abandon the case until it is over. It disciplines and develops perseverance, helps to get rid of stress.

Learn to evaluate your work, give yourself "marks", as in school, but do it objectively, without self-pity and narcissism. Be as strict as possible - if at least one letter in the work turned out to be clumsy or out of order, reduce the rating by one point. And if it doesn’t work out, ask someone close to look at the written text, point out errors in terms of calligraphy. It will be just fine if a person who can write beautifully himself, but will not be afraid to offend you with an objective assessment, will help you. You don’t need to scold yourself, it is important to find an incentive, learn to perceive criticism as a guide to action, a springboard for reaching new heights. Analysis of errors should be recorded - unsuccessful letters should be transferred to the beginning of a new page in the notebook.

After you have started to get beautiful letters and combinations of letters, you can move on to longer sentences and texts. At the initial stage, they need to be written in a notebook “in an oblique line”. This will save the results when moving to a new level of classes. You need to rewrite small texts or individual sentences, phrases. It is helpful to start taking into account the time spent writing a certain number of lines or words. It's better to account for strings, since words have different volumes. Another option to speed up writing is to set a timer. You can also use your favorite music composition as a time counter. But haste should not affect the quality, and if the handwriting is distorted, then it is too early to hurry. It is necessary to continue to evaluate your work, to do this without concessions and discounts on speed and time.

It is important not only to achieve good results, but also to maintain them. Even if you have learned to write beautifully, this should not be a reason to refuse regular calligraphy and hand gymnastics. Not enough time? Set aside half an hour for this during work, but do not borrow time allotted for rest, lunch - this will be annoying. If your profession involves writing with a pen, perform tasks in such a way that you do not cause damage, do not reduce your efforts to zero. Fill out the work papers slowly, paying attention to each letter and word. This will be another incentive to success, but the most important thing is not to break into your usual clumsy handwriting. When starting calligraphy, set yourself up for positive, understand that this is not for one day, that there is a long way ahead, which will definitely give a good result.

The ability to beautifully display letters, make the same squiggles, creating an even calligraphic font is a task that not everyone can handle.

Handwriting is considered almost a hereditary factor: if he writes like a chicken paw, then it will be so all his life.

How to teach a child to write beautifully?

It is much easier to teach a child to write beautifully. His pen skill is in the formative stage until around 5th grade.

During this time, pay attention to his manner of sitting, the way he grips the pen and diligence.

Explain to the child how important it is to have beautiful handwriting, how this skill will come in handy in life. An inspired child will diligently follow all your instructions.

Techniques to help children develop beautiful handwriting skills:

  • Tie a rubber band to the end of the pen and drape it over your wrist. This is a workout for the muscles of the arm, hand, fingers. Repeat daily.
  • Only a person with good motor skills and well-developed muscles can write beautifully and evenly.

Play sports with your child, do daily exercises. Pay attention to the muscles of the back, arms and hands.

  • Mark on the child's finger with a felt-tip pen the point of contact with the pen. This will help develop proper grip skills. And the correct position of the handle in the hand is already half the success.
  • Teach adults and children with a simple ballpoint pen. For children, choose a thin one that is comfortable to hold in your hand. The reason for bad handwriting is the wrong choice of pen.
  • Perform the exercise with the child: let him take the handle with three fingers at the very top and gradually, pressing on the table, go down with his fingers.

So the handle fits properly in the hand. Help your child remember this position.

  • Develop fine motor skills - how we write depends on it. Let the child be engaged in origami, beadwork, go through the cereals in the bag. Even a simple rosary can develop fine motor skills.
